Toughened / Tempered Glass
What it is?

"Popularly known as ‘Toughened Glass’."

An annealed glass is heated to its softening point temperature of - degree Celsius then it is moved for quenching. The quenching begins at a glass temperature of - The quenching cause compression on 20% surface area of glass and edges remaining 60% middle part develops stress zones as a result glass becomes stronger on surface and edges.

  1. It is 4 to 5 times stronger than an annealed glass & twice stronger than a heat strengthened glass.

  2. On breaking a tempered glass shatters into small size oval shaped pieces having blunt edges thus reducing possibility of human injury to a big extent.

  1. For glazing elevation, door, windows, partitions, etc wherever safety is required.

Heat Strengthened Glass
What it is?

Heat Strengthened Glass is produced from annealed glass using lower air quenching pressure. The sudden cooling cause compression on glass surface and the edges and remaining part develops stress zones

  1. It has twice the mechanical and thermal strength of annealed glass of equal thickness.

  2. It can bare heavy wind load and thermal stress.


In spandrel and/or vision areas whenever one needs better aesthetics.

Insulated Glass Unit (IGU / DGU)
What it is?

"Commonly known as IGU (Insulated Glass Unit) or DGU (Double Glass Unit)."

It is manufactured using two glass panes with an aluminium spacer in between filled with molecular desiccant creating still air/gas gap between the glasses. The aluminium spacer is placed and pasted in between two glasses using primary and secondary sealant and silicon.

  1. Offers superior barrier to the atmosphere temperatures and noise insulation according to glass’s technical parameters. Thermal resistive quality of glass results into decreased load on air conditioning equipment of the room thus saves energy.


For glazing, window, etc. wherever better performance is required.

Laminated Glass
What it is?

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. The interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. This produces a characteristic "spider web" cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to completely pierce the glass.
